Most significantly, some of the authors are renowned architects as well as famous artists, in other words they possess deep and special knowledge of The City, special vision and, above all, special power to change it in real life. The City was posed at the exhibition in all diversity of forms: City as frozen landscape, as sacral body, as stabilizing environment, as wanton irritation, as challenge. Once again we were reminded that strictness of rules, imposed on a Man in the City, has been in direct proportion to the degree of human ambitions, warmed by them.
